O'Namah regime reveal their own motives for political gain

The O’Namah regime continues to try to discredit protesters by using the "political motive” angle but this only reveals the motivation for all their moves.

Just because they are motivated by that (political gain) in all their maneuvering does not mean the Opposition lacks the same motivation. Heck, look at Dame Carol Kidu, she is leaving politics and she is still out there fighting this government’s dumb moves.

Besides political motives do not even come close to making the stupid laws less unconstitutional, draconian, evil and stupid – nor does the deferral of the elections.

Counter the protest with the issues. It is a cheap shot to shoot the messengers in order to shut down the message. It is the oldest trick in the book that only gullible fools will swallow.

In fact 2000 years ago governor Felix, the Roman governor of Judea, attempted this on the Apostle Paul who poured powerful truth out at his trial in front of governor Felix. Felix locked Paul away for some time hoping that Paul would pay him a bribe. This was because Paul's message was too powerful to counter, so the only way governor Felix would counter the argument was to get Paul to bribe him which would have immediately discredited Paul (Acts 24). Even Jesus was accused of being a sinner before a blind man whom he had healed. The blind man said: "Whether he's a sinner I don't know. All I know is I once was blind but now I see". We see variations of this character-assassination going on even now.

Noel Anjo tried to discredit the Defenders of the PNG Constitution as intending candidates. Newsflash! Not everyone is dumb as the blunders and selfishness of this government is as clear as day and because people can see it they are up in arms against it. Even public servants can see it but they are quiet because they're afraid of the current government. Get with the program. Rausim palang long ai na bai yu lukim klia!

There is a standard by which all government moves can be assessed: the PNG Constitution! Measure the government’s actions against that and try to convince the Defenders of the PNG Constitution that what the O’Namah regime is doing is right by the PNG Constitution - because the supremacy of the PNG Constitution is all these defenders care about!

Yes some of them will run for elections. John Paska and Michael Malabag have always been open about this but how does that make their defense of the PNG Constitution any less legitimate? Some of them like Dame Carol and countless others will not run. They are intelligent enough to see what is going on. They see the PNG Constitution being abused and they cannot stand it. They also see the majority of the people being fooled and silenced and they do not like it. So they are out there hoping this self-proclaimed "people's government" will listen to the people, who know what they're talking about and who speak on behalf of themselves, and those who cannot understand enough or are afraid to speak out.

Let us be sensible. Try counter the arguments that the Defenders of the PNG Constitution put forward by good sound arguments instead of taking a low blow that will only betray your own presuppositions. But then what possible "good sound arguments" can you possibly put forward without twisting the facts??
